The Vietnam War

A documentary series that makes you have every type of feeling from anger, happiness, sadness, frustration to joy. This documentary has ten episodes and it takes you through everything you want to know about the Vietnam War and plenty you did not know. In every episode you are going to learn places, dates, people and personal accounts. There were many parts that were incredibly difficult to watch because they show footage from the war and bring it to your home. You see many soldiers who are kids fighting/dying because their country asked or demanded them to. You will see how the war affected the people of Vietnam and United States. We do not just see the Americans who fought in the war but the people who fought for South Vietnam and North Vietnam. We hear about many different stories, families and historical events that happen during the war. Whether you are for, against, indifferent or do not have an opinion about the Vietnam War, I think you should watch this. Ken Burns and Lynn Novick did a brilliant job.

Those who fought are heroes.

There will be parts you will have to read unless you understand the language they are speaking.
